Art Studio 4:10 officially became a non-profit organization under the parent company Ascend Inc. in 2015. Art Studio 4:10 (non-profit) and Art Studio 4:10 Academy (art classes) provides art programs for children of all ages, physical, and cognitive abilities. Programs and classes are taught by Jen Easterday. In addition to being a life- long artist, Jen has been a registered nurse for 16 years and has extensive experience working with children and adults with chronic illnesses, physical and cognitive disabilities. Art studio 4:10 Academy students actively support community activities of Art Studio 4:10 by volunteering for organizations in the community... especially those that provide services for adults and children with special needs. Modeled after 1 Peter 4:10, our annual charity art auction gives all of our students and friends opportunities to use their gifts to serve the community by selling their art to support local children's charities and The Boys and Girls Christian Home in India. Past local recipients include Child Inc., Delaware Hospice Camp New Hope, Urban Promise, The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware (art scholarship), The Miracle League of Bear Babe Ruth, and Kay's Oncology Camp, The Blind Sports Association and Joy for the Journey Ministries.

BEGINNING ART
Ages: Elementary and up
When: Every other Monday (class 1) - Odessa, DE
One Wednesday per Month (class 2)  - Odessa, DE

Description: Classes will include opportunities to experience various media such as watercolor, acrylics, pastels, collage, printmaking and more.  The class atmosphere is fun and relaxed.  Beginning art is great for a child who loves art and has a desire to learn more or for a child trying art for the first time. Classes will be in the studio and outside when possible.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in various art-based service projects in the community.  Please contact Art Studio 4:10 for more information.

BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE ART*
Ages: Elementary and up
When: Every other Thursday (class 1) - Glasgow Park

Description: Classes are for the artist who has some experience and just can’t get enough art.  The class atmosphere is upbeat and fun while also allowing the serious artist to really immerse themselves in their work.  Students work in many types of media such as watercolor, acrylic painting on canvas, collage, printmaking, and pastels. ADVANCED ART*
Ages: Middle School and up
When: Every Tuesday (class 1) - Glasgow Park

Description: Classes are designed for the student who loves art and exhibit a strong understanding of line, perspective, proportion, use of color and intermediate to advanced drawing skills.  This will be an upbeat and fun class with challenging projects to include various media and group projects. This class is for students who have received a teacher recommendation or have a strong ability and interest in pursuing art.  Projects at this level may take more that one class period to complete.  Students will have opportunities to participate in various art-based service projects in the community.  Please contact Art Studio 4:10 for more information.

We appreciate the Women's Club of Odessa for the donation of their space for our art programs in the month of June. With the help of organizations and volunteers, Art Studio 410 is able to provide programs for kids and teach them theimportanceof being creative.

Art studio 4:10 non-profit academy offers classes that include painting of various types, mosaics, drawing skills, print making etc. Classes are taught in a group setting at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. Private lessons are available for all levels and needs. All classes can be adapted to fit your child's special needs and are designed for success! Students also have opportunities to serve adults and children with disabilities by participating in community art outreach projects organized by Art Studio 4:10.
