November 15   Fly into Habana.   Those arriving around same time will be picked up at the airport and taken to Fusterland.   Tour the neighborhood that pays homage to Barcelona’s Gaudi.  We will then be transferred to our accommodations in the Old city.  Those arriving at different times will be taxied to the accommodations.  6:45PM we will meet at lobby of accommodations to head for our first diner together.  (D)

November 16   Habana    Happy Birthday 500 Years.  After breakfast at our Casa, we will head on an Old City walking tour that will span the now 5 squares seeing how Cubans go about their daily lives.  You will be able to see the city come to live throughout the day.  We will see a lot of activity today celebrating the 500 year anniversary of Habana.  We will have a stop for lunch and a very unique dark room to see the city at a very special advantage.    (B,L,D)

November 17   After breakfast, we will head to Visit Santa Cruz Del North - a town and municipality in the Mayabeque Province of Cuba founded in 1714 where we will have an opportunity to see a fort built during the Spanish colonization, the municipal museum, schools, shops, etc.   In the oldest part of the city and along the river is where you can see the local fisherman and their traditional boats. Santa Cruz is also an economic and industrial town with the Havana Club rum factory, a soft drink factory, a large electrical power plant, and other local industries. We will have lunch.  We will visit the nature along Playa de Jibacoa where you may have an opportunity to swim in nature.   Dinner on your own when we return to Habana.  (B,L)

November 18    After breakfast we will have an early start to depart Habana for Trinidad with a stop along the way at bay of Pigs for lunch at a unique stop. Upon our arrival in Trinidad we will be staying at a very unique ranch within walking distance of the main square.  Tour Plaza Mayor are before heading to dinner.  (B,L,D)

November 19 After breakfast, We will make a stop at the local Potter ChiChi’s studio before we will drive through Valley of the Sugar Mills, then visit the Manaca Tower on the way to Santa Clara to visit Shield Train & Che Mausoleum.  We will have lunch in the area before heading back to Trinidad.  Dinner on your own.  (B,L)

November 20  After breakfast we will had Back to Habana stop in Cienfuegos for a very quick tour and stopping later for lunch along the way.  Upon our return to Habana we will stop at Revolution Square and drive through the Modern City area.  Depending on time, we will try to have a Cigar factory tour. We will have dinner at a local Paladar.  (B,L,D)

November 21   After Breakfast, we will head to Las Terrazas – A unique gated community that is also an eco-tourism destination.  We will visit the old coffee plantation; the San Juan Banos, have  a family style late lunch at the old farmer’s house before stopping at a small coffee shop.  We will then take a few minutes to walk through the community stopping at a couple of the artist’s homes and studios.  Dinner is on your own.    (B,L)

November 22     After Breakfast, Depending on flight times, we will make a stop at Hemmingway’s house before heading to the airport to Fly back to USA.   (B)
