Foster Care and Adoption Information Nights

Join us on the first Tuesday of every month!

Foster Care and Adoption Information Nights are held at both of our locations on the first Tuesday of every month from 4:00pm-7:00pm. 

At these informal informational sessions, you are able to speak with a knowledgeable member of our team in order to learn more about our agency and ask any questions you may have about becoming a foster or adoptive parent. 

We treat these like an open house, so feel free to stop by at any point between 4:00pm and 7:00pm.

A Better Chance for Our Children is dedicated to providing permanency for children.

We have been connecting children with families through foster care and adoptions in Delaware since 1996. During that time we have participated in many successful placements of children with our resource families. A Better Chance for Our Children primarily works to place children with special needs in families. 

We focus on finding families for waiting children, most from foster care and many with special needs. We believe that through education and support, families can develop the skills necessary to provide a stable, nurturing environment for these children. We prioritize this training and support so that waiting children have a better chance of overcoming the trauma they have experienced.

We believe that all children deserve a chance to be the best people they can be and, to achieve this, it is in a child's best interest to be with a properly trained and supportive family.
