A faith-based summit presented by Delaware's Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long, the Delaware Ecumenical Council on Children and Families and We Work for Health Delaware.
All faiths are invited to join this important discussion on the impact faith leaders and organizations have on empowering healthy lifestyles and communities. Faith leaders are uniquely positioned to discuss the idea of a unified body and spirit as they promote healthy lifestyles within their congregations and communities.
Part of the day's conversation will focus on the Medicare program and how recent changes to Medicare Part D in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 could jeopardize coverage for vulnerable beneficiaries. These recent changes would weaken protection for the six protected classes, destabilize Medicare Part D's successful structure and inhibit future access for many beneficiaries who rely on it for affordable treatment.
The Administration has proposed a new plan with some proposals that could address these affordability issues. Join us to learn about these Medicare Part D changes and how they may impact the people in your life.
