In 2019, PAWS’s biggest fundraising event of the year, the Wag-n-Walk & 5K, will become the Wag-n-Walkathon! This month-long event will kick-off throughout our 4-state area on September 19 and end with our “Cross the Finish Line” event on Saturday, October 19th at Glasgow Park in Newark, DE.

People of all ages can get pledges and participate with their family, friends, and neighbors to support the mission of PAWS for People. You can create a team or participate as an individual.

Family-friendly fun, entertainment, food, vendors, and doggie games and contests will be featured at the “Cross the Finish Line: even on October 19th as well as many of the events throughout the month.

Well behaved, licensed dogs are welcome to attend all events.

The annual Spring Fling is held in late March or April each year. This event includes a silent auction, delicious food, and fun for everyone.

The Wag-n-Walk is PAWS’ biggest fundraising event of the year! Some create teams and others participate as individuals. Family-friendly fun, entertainment, food, vendors, and doggie games and contests will be featured on the day of the event. Well behaved, licensed dogs are welcome to attend.

This event is held in February each year. It is a day filled with informative workshops, a keynote address, and fabulous food. This conference shares a little bit about a lot of important topics with all attendees. Open to all who love their pets, are pet enthusiasts, or are interested in learning more about the world of pet therapy or animal health & wellness. The 2018 conference was titled Healing Walks on Four Legs: The Impact of Pet Therapy and featured keynote speaker Brad Cole, from K9 First Responders, Inc.
