Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation (CHEF) announces the formation of “Friends of Cape”. We invite community members including Cape District parents, former educators and retirees to join us in actively supporting our public schools. “Friends of Cape” will be contributors and ambassadors to events which help Cape students prepare for successful lives and careers. In 2017/18, CHEF invested over $25,000 in underfunded and unfunded programs in five key areas: math and science (STEM), classroom resources for teachers, the arts, diversity and inclusion, and support for homeless and limited income students.
